How we do Counseling
Licensed clinicians integrating Christianity into therapy using biblical principles and therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Structural Family Therapy. We operate through a gospel-centered, Biblical perspective and use a range of therapeutic methods informed by brain science, psychology, body work, and trauma research.
Christian Therapy encourage discussion of Christian values and the role faith plays in addressing challenges, working through any questions or contradictions the client sees in their faith, or help them uncover strategies to better express their faith or integrate it into their daily life.
Christian therapy directly discuss biblical verses or parables, or other aspects of Christian teachings. Clients who begin therapy with specific problems they hope to solve such as a marital dispute or parenting challenge might receive guidance that is based specifically on the teachings of the Bible with the use of evidence based therapies.
Christian therapy will not attempt to convince non-Christian clients to conform from their beliefs, although the understanding of faith may be relevant to a process. Christian therapy can help clients identify the values that are most important to them and use faith to bolster their well-being.

We provide affordable counseling services through the support of a collection of local churches. We utilize clinical interns in graduate level masters programs who are seeking to complete their education and training in a church-based, gospel-informed counseling center. Providing the best holistic care possible, pointing to the power of Christ to restore and heal.
